Well, it's been a little over 3 months since I got my braces and things have definitely changed! Not only have my teeth changed, but also what I can and cannot eat. Steak, vegetables, various fruits, and many other foods are not as easy to eat anymore :/ ..however, it is all worth it! I am very happy with the results so far :)

This was taken last year on our honeymoon. My teeth were definitely getting worse than what they had ever been before. My narrow upper jaw is more than apparent, which makes my smile appear to be very small.
And now..the present:
And this picture was taken this past Monday on our 1 year anniversary :) Just after 3 months, my upper jaw has widened (thanks to my expander), which has made my smile much more bigger! My treatment time is 21-24 months (hopefully just 21 months ;)) The results are amazing thus far and I have received tons of kind words and encouragement to get me through this process! So, thank you!
My next appointment is in a couple weeks. At my last appointment, my orthodontist informed me that he would remove and reposition my expander for the last half of the treatment for the expander. September cannot come quick enough! ..Then that little doodad will be gone :)))
...Only 18-21 more months to go! :)
