Yesterday was exactly what I needed. Michael & I went to visit Mike's brother & his wife and spend the day with them. We left early yesterday morning to make it down for their church service. We were able to worship with them and their church family and meet some great people! Their church had a fall hayride/picnic event going on in the afternoon at one of the church member's homes. Let me tell you...I am not one that prefers the "country life" but what I experienced yesterday was absolutely beautiful. When we left, I felt rejuvenated and fresh. The host & hostess' home is out in the middle of nowhere. Their house sits on 300 acres, has 3 ponds, and multiple barns with animals from goats to peacocks!
It was a great time had by all. I personally loved just getting away from textbooks, house duties, and the mundane things of life.
