Well, I wrote my last post in December. Sorry for the lack of posts, but school & work were crazy sooo blogging had to be put on the back burner.
I thought ya'll would love a classic, bathroom MySpace-type picture to welcome me back ;)
Ok, back to the main reason why I am writing this post. The guest bedroom has made some major progress, and while it isn't completely finished, it looks about a million times better already.
Before:
The picture directly above is an example of the horrific texture issue on our walls that we have to deal with. In order to paint a wall, we have to apply a layer or two of joint compound, sand the wall, primer, and then paint. It's definitely a long process.
Progress:
To-Do List:
- paint closet doors
- finish adding trim around the closet
- paint bedroom door
- find dresser & DIY
- hang art/decorations
- buy bedskirt
That's it for now. The corner spot is my favorite. The yellow chair is a DIY project from our wedding & the rug is from Ikea.
