Weekend Recap

Hope you all had a great weekend...I know I did. It was very relaxing and M & I had the opportunity to hang out with so many people! 

On Friday at work, I was thinking of a cheap date night that we could have. We have an enormous amount of brush in our backyard that needed to be burned, so I thought, "why not have a bonfire and roast hotdogs and make s'mores?" So, I texted Mikey and he approved. It was soo much fun! We made dinner over the fire, ate s'mores for dessert, watched 2 episodes of Revenge & then some great friends of ours came over. T'was a great night :) 

Saturday consisted of sleeping in {whattt, that is unheard of for me}...it was glorious! My dad came down and Mikey worked on his car and we were able to hang out, which was nice. Then I left for a good friend of mine's baby shower. She is due in May with a baby girl & she is so beautiful :) K definitely has the pregnancy glow :) 

Sunday was another big day for us! We went to church that morning and celebrated Palm Sunday with our church family then went to lunch with some of the best people in this world. It was a fun afternoon :) Later on that evening, we went to the Third Day/Colton Dixon concert with some other friends and worshiped God in song with hundreds of other Christians. It was amazing. 

So...there was our weekend. It was a lovely break from the usual "work on homework all weekend" that I am used to. We are thankful to have such wonderful people in our lives.

Came upon this verse today while at work & loved it. 

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!
