the little things.

  

  it's amazing to me how "the little things" can either make or break your day.  the past couple of mornings, mike and i have experienced some unexpected negatives that we frustrating to deal with and are just plain downers to the day. in fact, this morning we experienced one in particular.  it was one of those instances where you just think to yourself, "wow...is this really happening right now?"

  however, this morning instead of getting mad and upset, i just pleaded with the Lord to show me that He is for US! Mike and i both know that He is, but we needed affirmation--which thankfully, God always gives! This afternoon, i received some potential good news that lifted my spirits and tonight for dinner, God provided in a way through a lovely couple.  Mike and i were speaking earlier this evening and reflected about our day which started at 6am until now. we realized that its the "little things" that placed in our lives today to show us that He does care; He sees our needs, desires, dreams, and etc.  it is truly such a beautiful thing to experience.

  to end, i noticed another type of "little thing" that i will forever be grateful for, and that is all the little ways that Mike shows his love for me. it's as simple as an encouraging word, a tender little kiss, a 'look' that makes you fall in love all over again, comfort, honestly, patience, etc. the list goes on and on. i pray that i can always see the little ways he shows his love for me and that i can do the same in return. <3
