a girl can dream...

our house is a disaster. literally. however, it's because we have begun to work on the house again! the room we are starting on this week is our master bedroom! WOOOOOOO :) him and i are soooo READY for this room to be completed.
mike began to move all the big stuff and cram it into our office space. now all that is left to move is little random objects then we can begin the spackling process! after we spackle, then the sanding begins :( ....BUT after the sanding is completed, then we can PAINT! 

i posted our room color in a previous post, but here it is again..

  it is called Blue Admiral..aka navy blue. haha. it is a darker color for a bedroom, but i know we can pair it with some brighter colors--like yellow :)

as i daydream tonight about what our room will eventually look like, i decided to put a few pictures together for inspiration or how i would like for our room to turn out once it is all finished! 

here are some of my ideas!

 some sort of comforter this color and pattern.

decorative throw pillows for the comforter.

glass table lamps for the nightstand{s}

 

clock for the wall. love this charcoal color!

leaning wall mirror; however i would love a wider mirror and a different color.

beige suede ottoman for the corner of a room...probably in front of the leaning mirror. 

 

hang some sort of wall art! love the poppies in this painting.

 

and of course, use some of my clear vases for fresh, colorful flowers to brighten the room :)

yeah...just some ideas. i realized that while i was hunting for these items online that these are our wedding colors {blue, yellow, & gray} but just in different shades :) 

another object that will be hung in our room will be a bigger version of this picture: 

{however, in black and white}
