milestones.

this weekend was one of milestones.  one of my beautiful best friends married the love of her life :) i felt so honored to be asked to be a bridesmaid and take part in this beautiful day in their lives! i know they will last forever and ever!

she looked soooo pretty! :) 

oh, and a shout out to my very good friend, keke..aka liesi :)

had such a WONDERFUL time with her this weekend!

 

 

fast forward to today.

    today was Mike and I's one month anniversary of being married.  this probably doesn't mean much to people, but to us...its crazy! not that we wouldn't be together, but the fact that it has FLOWN by! we have learned soo much about one another already and we are excited to discover more :) in order to celebrate our anniversary, mike decided to re-live our first date ever! soooo, after worke today, we came home and mike packed us up a picnic and we headed to Hargus! it was a wonderful time and brought back great memories. we reminisced about our relationship--all the ups and downs, the stages we have found ourselves in, and the fact that marriage had sprouted from one little date. mmm :) i am definitely blessed! <3

 

here is how we spent our awesome monday:

                   under this cute tree. :)  {i wanted to carve our initials into the tree, but mike said it was illegal at a state park.. :/}

if you can't tell by the bags under my eyes, i am tired! ..but so in love :)

our first date consisted of PB&J's--so we had to keep the tradition!

and orbit for dessert ;) 

mike tried to feed the extra bread to the little fishies.

after our date, we went grocery shopping! of course, we picked up some fresh flowers :)

to end our day, i put away groceries and mike brushed Brutus! they are my 2 cute boys ;)
