tuesday was a bummer because Mike's laptop was stolen as well as his bookbag that i had bought him our first christmas. we were both super upset because all of Mike's business records and documents were on that computer. :( we are currently working on fixing that situation!
wednesday was a great day because it was Mike's 22nd birthday :). we took the day off of work and went to cedar point with our great friends, Liesi and Stuart! it was a fun, but exhausting day! to end the night, we went to pizza hut for dinner and headed back to good 'ol circleville!
other than those events...some other things happened, but we know that God does things for a reason and we do not always understand at the time, but it is for the good. mike and i are in "the land of in between" at the moment. we do not currently have a home church, so we are between churches trying to find the right one that God has for us right now. my job as a full-time position ends at the end of august then i go back to part-time, so i am currently looking for full-time positions that coincide with my degree of psychology--another land of in between. this goes for our life together as well. we have adjusted well so far when it comes to living together, but its still a work in progress ;) however, its a very fun and rewarding journey!
i am just trying to draw near to God and lean on Him since he already knows the way. I have been getting into the Word more than I have in months and its so refreshing! to know that you can trust the Almighty with your life, plans, dreams, etc. is such a comforting feeling!
On a HAPPY note....today is my mom's birthday! mike and i are staying with my family this weekend to celebrate her's and mike's birthdays together :) i am sooo excited to see them :) to celebrate, we are going canoeing as a family then getting some dinner! it's so amazing how blessed i am to have such a great, close family and to have another great family, the Cessna's :) mike and i are so grateful for the wonderful people we have in our life that we are fortunate to call family.
i am starting a new DIY project. it is not fully completed, but once it's done...i will be sure to share :) however, i can share with you this awesome vase that i found at Volunteers of America {pretty much a Goodwill} for only 33 cents!
its sooo bright and green, but it will go perfectly in our master bedroom, when it is done, up against those navy blue walls :) ..and with some pretty little flowers in it :)
hope you all have a great weekend. take some time to reflect upon all your blessings sometime this weekend :)
